INDIEFINITIVE EPISODE 04: SHERRA LASLEY
INDIEfinitive is a ride-along look at how I, and the people I'm lucky enough to meet and work with, try to make stuff.
On this episode, I'm going back to my trip to California in February where I met with a few LA-based actors and filmmakers. This interview is with the very talented and very funny Sherra Lasley.
Sherra is an actress, producer, voiceover artist, sketch comic - she does a lot of things. She went through the Second City program in Chicago and was very involved in the comedy scene there before eventually relocating to Los Angeles. Since then, she's continued to work on some great projects, including a dramatic comedy pilot called "A Beautiful Mess," a dramatic short film called "If I Go," an improve comedy web series called "Fix Your Life," episodes of the "Big Head" comedy parody series, and an episode of "The Happy." That's all in addition to a ton of voiceover work, additional acting and producing, and teaching a class. She does a lot, and through it all she seems to maintain a great philosophy in how she approaches creative work and collaborates with others.
I really enjoyed talking to her and think you'll get something out of it.
Hope you and your family are healthy and isolated during this crazy time. Thanks for listening.
